General Ledger
Every module posts to the general ledger, so it holds the full financial picture. Budgets stay attached to their accounts. Start from the chart we load from the Uniform System of Accounts, or use your own.
What it does
- Unlimited funds, journals, budgets, account segments, and fiscal periods, with an audit trail recorded automatically.
- Use your own account structure or ours, based on the Uniform System of Accounts for New York State.
- Safe post will not accept an out-of-balance entry.
- Post to past, present, and future periods. There is no special closing procedure at month end or year end.
- Leave periods open when you need to and still report correctly.
- Run a trial balance for a period and choose to close it. The system handles the rest.
